Over the years, Termoidraulica Cecconato has carried out work for important customers, including DIAB SpA, a leading company in Longarone (Belluno) that for more than fifty years has been engaged in the development of high performance composite core materials, providing a wide range for markets including marine, wind energy, transportation, aviation and industry. THE INTERVIEW

Can you describe the project in question?

The intervention concerned the overheated water thermal system used by the press for the production of expanded PVC panels.

Prior to starting the work, what were the technical aspects that needed to be improved?

The refurbishment of the superheated water distribution lines, the efficiency of the temperature inside the thermal press system, the reduction of thermal and cooling water consumption.

Can you describe the benefits obtained after the work was complete?

We have seen great benefits in terms of controlling the temperature in the press and the thermal production cycle, with a 30% reduction in consumption and recovery of heating water.
